Art Therapist, Counsellor, and Educator
based out of Bayside, Melbourne, Australia.
I work with people who want to be the best version of themselves – living a life that is meaningful, authentic and making a positive difference in the world around them. I also deeply appreciate the challenges that come when life changes occur.
Many of us have old wounds, disappointments and trauma from our past. We hold these traumatic events deep within us somewhere. These locked away emotions and attitudes still have the power to affect our daily life in an unseen and negative way.
But It’s Possible to Break Dysfunctional Patterns of Thinking and Behaving
Shining a light on these areas brings understanding. When you understand yourself you have the power to make different choices. You can learn to work with and trust the highest in you. By doing this you’ll naturally make positive changes in your life that will benefit you and the lives of others around you.
Who I Help
As a successful art therapist, teacher and parent I work with people who
- desire to live a more authentic, meaningful life
- want to understand what’s stopping them
- are not afraid of visiting their story and facing their personal challenges
- desire to break cycles of dysfunction
- are open and willing to embrace new behaviours that will enhance their sense of wellbeing
Helping You Grow Through Life Changes
We are here to grow – constantly becoming more of who we authentically are.
I deeply appreciate the challenges that come with each stage of life. They have been the catalyst for my own personal growth and have given me a passion for helping others gain from these times. From experience I know that challenges are opportunities to become more of who you are – more authentic, more true and more accepting and giving of your own unique qualities.
I will Witness, Truly Hear, Accept, Honour and Trust Your Process.
To really look within and get to know yourself is one of the most courageous things you will do in life.
Your story and the way you perceive it contributes to who you are. In individual sessions, understanding and owning your story and how it impacts on the way you view yourself and the world around you is part of what we will do together.
I will journey with you while you explore your story and inner terrain. Together we will face difficulties and challenges, travelling wherever you need to go in order to gain personal understanding and self expression. Together we will make sense of your experience so you can learn to become more accepting of yourself and change the trajectory of your ongoing story.
Art Can Lead To Meaningful Expression
Art therapy will be used when appropriate, offering a safe and liberating way of externalising and expressing aspects of yourself and your story that may be difficult to put into words. This will help you gain personal insight, clarity and healing. Healing and understanding will happen.
How To Proceed Towards Healing
When you work with me you are being supported and guided by someone who has done the hard yards and knows what it is like to face and move through life’s changes and challenges. This, combined with extensive training, give me a rich background of personal experience to draw from in order to help you move towards a brighter future.
